Nature, the Great Outdoors & You

Nature, the Great Outdoors & You

The Romantic Authors had a great abiding love and respect for nature. Wordsworth wrote that nature allowed him to "see into the life of things." Nature and the wild world are a part of many Romantic poems and stories.

What is your feelings about nature? Do you feel the same way? If so why, or why not? What is the best way to experience the natural world? Is the experience itself overrated and irrelevant to young adults like yourself?

We write well and review and correct spelling/grammar before posting.

3 min fiction Carissa Meraz 3rd NEW!!!!!

I was driving on a dark, narrow road, I hate living in the middle of no where. Everything was just a big blurr, the windeshield wipers weren't wiping fast enough. I couldn't see a thing. I slowed down know there was going to be a turn coming up soon if my timing was correct. Suddenly everything just turned black.

"She's AWAKE!", I heard my dad say in excitment.
"Wow, what a miricale, let me get the doctor so we can do some test on her." an unfamiliar voice said as I heard a dooor cl0se behind.

My vision was still blurry, blinking a few times to get a better view of my surroundings. I know I wasn't in my bedroom, then I saw I noticed a needle in my arm!
I tried to scream and ask what the heck is wrong with me! Them I couldn't even talk, I look to left of me and saw tubes connected to a machine, I followed them up onto my mouth. I was freaking out now and tried to wiggle, but i got now where.
I guess my dad was observing me tried to calm me down.

"Sweetheart, please it's going to be okay. These tubes that are connected to you help feed you, look you got into a serious accident over a little three weeks ago and to be honest we thought we were going to lose you since you havent woke up. But now that doesn't matter now your here awake and you seem perfectly normal honey, and I'm thankful God didn't take you away from me like he took everyone else. You keep going." he said kneeled next to me with eyes full of tears.

I felt little salt water droplets rolling down my think cheeks. I grabbed his hand and gave it squeeze. I noticed he understood my signal with the aqueeze. He grabed a tissue and wiped mine his face. I was thankful just to alive and not leave such a wonderful man behind.
